The Enforcement Directorate (ED) intensifies its focus on the teacher recruitment scam, conducting raids in multiple locations in Kolkata. A search operation was carried out at the residence of Paramita Chattopadhyay, the daughter of accused 'Kalighat Kaku' Sujaykrishna Bhadra, and her husband Devroop Chattopadhyay on Lee Road, Bhawanipore.

Another office of a company linked to Bhadra was searched in New Alipore, while an address in Sanjua, South 24 Parganas, was also investigated. The ED's charge sheet implicates Sujaykrishna Bhadra and his family members in money laundering through property transactions. It highlights the purchase of a flat by Devroop Chattopadhyay and links it to Sujaykrishna's financial activities.
